Terms of Service & Refund Policy

By installing or using JumpMarkers ("the extension", "the software"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. About JumpMarkers

JumpMarkers is a Google Chrome browser extension that allows users to save, organize, and navigate YouTube video timestamps. It is developed and maintained by JumpMarkers (jumpmarkers@gmail.com).

2. License

JumpMarkers grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the extension for personal or professional purposes. You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the extension
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the extension or its Premium features
Use the extension for any unlawful purpose

3. Free vs. Premium

JumpMarkers is available in two tiers:

Free — includes core features with certain limits (up to 150 markers, 3 folders, 50 subtopics, 30 tags, 4 themes). A 7-day Premium trial is included on install.
Premium — a one-time payment of $5 USD that unlocks unlimited markers, folders, subtopics, tags, all themes, YouTube Shorts support, and all future updates at no extra cost.

4. Premium License

The Premium license is a lifetime, single-user license. It is tied to your license key and can be used across multiple devices belonging to the same user. It is not transferable to other individuals.

All future updates to JumpMarkers are included at no additional charge for Premium users.

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store or have access to your payment card information. By completing a purchase you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

JumpMarkers is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for any data loss, although all data is stored locally on your device.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JumpMarkers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the extension.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all Premium purchases. If you are not satisfied with JumpMarkers Premium for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your purchase at jumpmarkers@gmail.com and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

To request a refund please include:

Your order number or email used for the purchase
The reason for your refund (optional but appreciated)

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method. After a refund is issued, your Premium license will be deactivated and the extension will revert to Free tier.

Refund requests made after 30 days of purchase will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
